Watermelon Strawberry Slush

I am always looking for fun punch recipes and these are three of my favorites.

Watermelon Strawberry Slush

1/2 Cup Water
1 Cup of Ice Cubes
1/4 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice
6 Cups cubed Watermelon
1 Cup fresh Strawberries or Raspberries
1/3 Cup sugar
2-3 fresh mint leaves

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately for slush drink or refrigerate if wanting as a cold punch.

Traders Punch

6 oz Frozen Lemonade Concentrate
6 oz Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
½ Cup grenadine syrup
1 quart 7-Up or Sprite, chilled

Make lemonade and orange juice according to the directions on the cans. Mix in the grenadine syrup. Cool until ready to serve. When ready to serve, add chilled soda.

Tropical Slush

6 medium ripe bananas
1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 can (12ounces) thawed lemonade concentrate
4 cups hot water
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 can (46 ounces) pineapple juice
3 bottles (2 liters each) 7-Up or Sprite, chilled

In a blender, cover and process the bananas, orange juice concentrate and lemonade concentrate and blend until smooth. Remove mixture and set aside. In a separate container add the warm water and sugar and stir until dissolved. Combine and add pineapple juice. Divide into 3 containers; I use gallon zip-lock bags. Freeze until solid.

When ready to serve, remove 1 bag from freezer about 1 hour before ready to serve. Break apart the frozen mixture a bit and then add frozen mixture to punch bowl or pitcher. Add 1 bottle of lemon-lime soda. Stir and serve immediately. Each bag serves about 8.
