Pumpkin Spice Rice Krispie Treats / Pumpkin Pie Muddy Buddies

It is Pumpkin Season, and we are serving Pumpkin Shakes at the Dairy Keen. These two recipes are fun to share while watching football games. Feels like Fall is in the air.

Pumpkin Spice Rice Krispie Treats

4 Tablespoons butter, divided

¼ Cup pumpkin puree

10 oz bag mini marshmallows

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

6 Cups crispy rice cereal

Butter a 13x9 pan with 1 Tablespoon of butter. Set aside.

In a large saucepan melt 3 Tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add pumpkin puree and marshmallows, stir frequently until melted. Remove from heat and stir in spices. Add the rice cereal and stir until combined.

Dump into prepared pan. Spread out evenly and gently press down with buttered hands. Let cool before cutting.

Store in an airtight container.
