Rice Krispie Treats

I love Rice Krispie Treats, BUT I could never get them to stay soft. They always turned out hard. I did research on the problem, and low and behold it was right there in the directions on the box. Melt over LOW heat, when I melted the butter first and then add the FRESH marshmallows and stir them CONSTANTLY and melt slowly, the squares stayed soft. It is always the details that get me. I love that I can make them with Gluten Free Rice Krispies and they taste awesome.
