Watergate Pistachio Salad

This is such an easy salad to throw together. It is ready to eat immediately or can be held for a day or two in the refrigerator. It is great for Thanksgiving too. It is called Watergate Salad because it was made famous from the Watergate Hotel in Washington D.C.

Watergate Pistachio Salad

Serves 6

20 ounces crushed pineapple

5 ½ ounces pineapple tidbits

3 ½ ounces box of INSTANT pistachio pudding mix

2 cups, approx. small marshmallows

6 ounces cool whip, thawed

½ cup of Pecans, if desired

Pour both cans of pineapple into large bowl, DO NOT DRAIN. Add instant pudding, stir until all the pudding mix is moistened and thicken. Add other ingredients. Stir until combined. Chill.
