Chicken Parmesan Burgers

This is a quick and fun recipe to throw together. My family loved it! Hope your family loves it too.

Chicken Parmesan Burgers

1 Pound Ground Chicken ½ Cup Grate Parmesan Cheese 1 Tablespoon Dried Onion or 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning 1 teaspoon Salt ¼ teaspoon Pepper ½ Cup Marinara Sauce (bottled is fine) 1 ½ Cups Bread Crumbs 2 Tablespoon Olive oil 4 Ounces shredded Mozzarella Cheese 4 Sandwich Buns

In a large bowl combine the ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, dried onion, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and marinara sauce. Mix lightly together until combined. Shape into 4 patties. Coat each of the patties with bread crumbs.

In a large skillet heat the olive oil over medium heat. Cook patties until bottoms are browned and crusty, about 4 minutes. Turn patties over and cook 3 more minutes. Add cheese to the top and heat until cheese is melted.

Serve on toasted buns, adding more of the marinara sauce to the top and bottom of the bun just before serving.

**To make Gluten Free use GF bread crumbs and buns.

I tried German Spaetzle while in Florida, they made it Gluten Free for me. It was love at first bite. We had it with Schnitzel, which is similar to Chicken Fried Steak but made with Pork. Spaetzle
